The Haywood County ARC is asking for communications help for the Blue Ridge Breakaway bike race, , on Saturday, August 16. The longest route is nearly 106 miles.

This may be an all day event for some participants; the hams will meet at 545am at Bojangles on Russ Avenue in Waynesville - the last bicyclists may not finish the course until 7pm.

Mountain State Fair demonstration and special event station ! 

We are raffling an Elecraft K3 100-Watt  High Performance All-Mode Transceiver.

ONLY 600 Tickets  at $10 each will be sold! To obtain your winning ticket, contact:

This raffle is a fundraising event. Tickets will be entered into a prize drawing to be held on or before September 15th, 2015, or when 600 tickets have been sold. Individuals may purchase as many tickets as they wish; however, only 600 tickets will be sold. Participants must be 18 years or older. Road Show ARC members are eligible to participate. The Road Show Amateur Radio Club, Inc., will at its sole discretion determine the date, place, and time of the one and only prize drawing. Participants need not be present to win. The cost to purchase a single entry ("Ticket") for the Raffle is $10 (U.S. Funds only). The winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and delivery costs.  Winnings are not redeemable for cash. The Road Show ARC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

 Beginning Thursday, July 10 at 630 pm at the Skyland Fire Department (in the small upstairs training room; disabled accessible), and lasting for 7 weeks. (The last night of class- Aug 21-  is the exam.)

The cost is $60 which includes the license manual (with the new question pool), all training materials,and the fee for the exam.

Welcome to our website! We are a newly formed club from a group of longtime friends. We have two informal nets daily. They start around 0700 and 1630 local time on the 147.105 repeater. Come join us. The first 5 minutes you are a guest, after that you are family and fair game! You can also join us via Echolink via KE4VXC.
